Warptide was a crazy ride. Allot of stuff happened, Coin met some new wyngrew, went on an adventure. And well, the saying “curiosity killed the cat” almost became reality.

This wasn’t what she had planned for warptide at all. All she wanted was a normal holiday where she dressed up in some spooky theme, told scary stories and scare some children! The usual stuff.

But her curiosity got the best of her once again. She heard stories about the mansion, a haunted mansion! She couldn’t resist. Her thirst for the adventure was too big. All she expected was just some spooky abandoned house with the greatest opportunity to scare some other wyngrew. But boy was she wrong.

She teamed up with three other wyngrew who also heard about the story, and decided to check it out. Two of them were pretty brave, and also in for a good laugh, the third one was more careful.

At first everything seemed normal, they checked every door they came across, mostly rooms with dusty furniture, empty boxes, large bookshelves, normal house stuff really. Though Some rooms had these creepy old paintings of unknown wyngrew, they all had strange eyes…
the old mansion made allot of noise, creaking from the wood that’s shifting, gusts of winds getting inside the house trough broken windows, which made all of them jump from time to time. Even the brave ones!  Everyone started to get nervous and they all wanted to go home, away from this place, but oddly they couldn’t find their way back out. Everything seemed turned around, what way did they came from? Did they already went down this hallway? This is madness!

They finally found a door that led to the outside! But it led to the garden of the mansion… a maze. It was the only option, they had to go trough.
it felt like hours inside there, they just walked and walked. Everything looked the same! There was no sign of progression at all. Everyone was nervous, and stressed. It was hard on the team.
eventually they saw something, a door! They ran and opened the door, only to find themselves back into the mansion…

Everyone was exhausted, they had to take a breather for a minute.
but the team tried to keep the mood up. They can’t give up now! They came so far already!
so they set forth their adventure once more, and checked everything door by door. Again lots of the same rooms. Until one room, it had a strange feel to it and send chills down everyone’s spines.

The room was large and there were burning candles, who lit those? At the end of the room there was a single pedestal with a stone on it. The stone had a faint glow to it. One of the team members ran up to it and grabbed the stone and showed it off to the others. “look at this rad stone, guys!”.
as soon as the stone was removed from its place, something got triggered, something was appearing. Everyone stood there frozen, staring at the large purple figure that appeared behind the wyngro that grabbed the stone. They carefully warned him about the monster behind him.
as soon as he turned around he got the scare of his life! In a total panic he threw the stone at his teammates, he didn’t think, he just acted. The team got scared shitless, and were all avoiding to hold on to the stone, and just passed it to each other.

The monster was surprised for a while, but got furious quickly. It grew bigger into a large flame and roared in anger at the group! I don’t think anyone ever ran this fast in their life. They dropped the stone, forgot about it completely, and just tried to escape. The giant flame monster spew fire around the room, and large ghostly claws lunged at them. This was dangerous…
some of the wyngrew burned their paws, some got a few scratches. Coin got a large scratch on her shoulder, but nothing too deep. They all were able to find their way out quickly. As if the house led them outside. They were finally free. Free to go home.
