Fresha's courage

Fresha is going trough some stuff.
She's in her teenage years and still got lots to learn. she's quite big and doesn't know her own strenght yet.
as a kid she loved to run around and just run into things, no one seemed to care at home. but it seems those things aren't acceptable at all anywhere else....
Fresha got a bit too wild and fell over right into some merchants stand, and sadly broke the wooden planks.
She apologized a thousand times and promised to pay them back, a small crowd stood around to watch the accident.
Fresha became more and more self concious ab all the eyes staring at her. they were piercing right trough her soul.

Fresha has always been a bit shy, and never talked much. but just when she was feeling more comfortable and was happy and excited her bubble got burst...

she overheared two voices talking about her.
they were mocking, insulting.
she couldn't fight back.
she can't.
they were right...
I realy am a mess......




but the moment they aimed their insults at her family...
she can't take that
she gotta do something!
insult me! not them! they never did anything wrong!
they were the best people in the world!
she had to stand up and fight...





later that day Fresha got home, beat up a bit, but she's fine.
she still hides the story from her family,
they'd get worked up and track those guys down if they knew.
but she doesn't want them to keep protecting her, she can't keep hiding like this...
she's happy she finally stood up for something, she gotta get a grasp on this tiny piece of courage and not let go.
